(More customer reviews)This is a great light weight drill with plenty of power. I bought it because I thought Makita would stop making the 12v. Seems like everybody wants more and more power. More power means more weight. I personally dont like lugging around a ten pound weight!Anyway this drill has enough power to drive in lag screws in wood without pilot holes. Is that enough power for you. Make sure you buy the 6270 model. It has removable brushes. There are other Makita models that are cheaper but dont have the power. Buy extra batterys incase they quit making the 12v model. Good luck! "Johan"
