(More customer reviews)This drill was a free bonus from Makita when I bought my 14.4 volt impact driver. The drill is a nice, heavy duty piece, but a little underpowered at 350 in lbs of torque. The chuck is a nice ratcheting design, and hols bits securely. The 2.6 amp hour nimh batteries have supurb run time. The cheap plastic case was a definite turn off, as parts had broken off it in transit. The new improved MXT drills from Makita have more power and a three speed gearbox.
