(More customer reviews)I have 2- 36v dewalt 1/2" drills, a 36v circular saw, sawzall, flashlight, 2 chargers and 3 batteries...this has been the best investment in all of my tools.these tools have been a life saver and last forever.i dont know what happened with the guys drill who reviewed the drill before me but he must have gotten a dud.but of course, that never happens.I would highly recommend any and all 36 volt tools that dewalt makes.Comparing a ryobi drill to dewalt is like comparing a kia to a mercedes.Why would Dewalt warranty a tool you didnt buy directly from them? Unless you bought a warranty with the drill from dewalt who in their right mind would warranty that? DO NOT LISTEN to the guy that wrote the review before me, he obviously spends too much time at the home depot instructional classes.If youre a real professional in just about any trade, you will be more than satisfied with any tool in dewalt's 36 volt line.
