The answer was YES. These batteries, like many others, will continue to drain especially if attached to the drill. Just like with a car, you can jump start the batteries. Send an email to Milwaukee customer service and they will email you the jump start instructions including a diagram. I got a reply in less than 24 hours and it was FREE.
