(More customer reviews)UPDATE: I'm building a soffit in my kitchen and had to use 6" lag bolts to attach my framing to the ceiling joists...long story why they had to be so long. Anyway, as opposed to using a mechanic's ratchet, I bought a socket attachment, chucked it into my new impact driver and proceeded to sink the lag bolts into place without even breaking a sweat. This tool is absolutely amazing.

I have two dewalt 14.4 XRP drill/drivers that I've been putting through the paces for the last 5 or 6 years. However recently I've been doing a lot more construction work and saw the need for a more compact driver when constructing cabinets and countersinking long screws and lag bolts into harder/thicker stock.

I just got this impact driver last week and have yet to find a screw or bolt that it can't handle with ease. As I continue to use it, I'll be sure to update this review is necessary.
