(More customer reviews)I bought this to replace my 12v Dewalt because the batteries died and they were $40 each to replace. At the time, I paid $49 for this drill (late January 2010).Well, it absolutely does not have good drilling power like I was used to with the Dewalt. It is good to drive screws into pilot holes, but even my 230# husband had a hard time drilling the pilot holes into wood.On the plus side, it does have lifetime coverage for the batteries and it is balanced and weighted well, especially for the average woman to use.I think I will do some research and purchase a drill rated well for power, control and weight - maybe invest in lithium powered drill.
