(More customer reviews)I got my DR220 about four years ago and it was a WORKHORSE for about a year.
Then it started acting up... would turn off in the middle of use; I thought it was a switch problem (easy fix; right?).
WRONG...
something about the motor shifting causing lose of contact.
At first, I had to quickly shift the direction of drill to get it to work; later, a quick tap on the side; then a sharp whack against the wall.
I just bought a cheap $20 drill.
I can afford several of them for what I paid for this DR220
