Process:
1) Drill,
2) Insert extractor
3) Tap w/ hammer (as if you were getting that initial marking of a nail)
4) extract

Things were looking good at 4.The stud was coming out slowly, and suddenly the extractor snaps.

Material must of been made from scrap.
